When you think of going to Disney World, usually food isn’t the first thing that comes to mind, but it should be! The quality of the food and snacks offered has greatly improved over the years and the following list is a compilation of my favorite snacks that you can find any time of the year.
1. Dole Whip

Original Dole Whip – Aloha Isle
The perfect combination of sweet pineapple and soft serve, this item is found at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom and at the Polynesian Resort. You can get it plain which is my favorite way, swirled with vanilla or as a float with pineapple juice.
2. Mickey bar
NO PHOTO OF A MICKEY BAR – I ATE IT TO FAST TO GET A PHOTO!
Found everywhere, there’s nothing like a creamy vanilla and chocolate coated Mickey Bar to cool you down on a hot day.
3. LeFou’s Brew

LeFou’s Brew and cinnamon roll – Gaston’s Tavern
Only found at Gaston’s Tavern in New Fantasyland, this apple slush is infused with toasted marshmallow foam and it’s super yummy. Try it with a super huge cinnamon roll!
4. Butterfinger Cupcake

Butterfinger Cupcake – Starring Rolls Cafe
You’ll have to go to Starring Rolls Cafe at Hollywood Studios to get this cupcake but it’s worth it! It really doesn’t taste like a Butterfinger but it’s creamy goodness on top with crushed Butterfinger crumbs and a chocolate cupcake on the bottom. It’s large enough to share.
5. No Way Jose!

No Way Jose – Beaches and Cream
My favorite ice cream dessert outside of the park and only found at Beaches and Cream located between the Beach and Yacht Club. If you can’t get a reservation then you can walk up and order it to go. Several scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with peanut butter sauce, hot fudge, peanut butter and chocolate chips, and whipped cream. The only place outside the World that can come close to this is Dairy Queen but I still prefer the original.
I”m heading to Disney World soon and have the following items on my “must-try” list of snacks:
Waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow (Magic Kingdom)
Cake cups at Cheshire’s (Magic Kingdom)
Decorated caramel apples (everywhere!)
Croissant donut (Magic Kingdom and Epcot)
Turkey leg? I’ve never tried one but this might be the trip where I venture out. (Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom)
