If you’re looking for luxury, privacy, a bit of pampering, and amazing cuisine in a tropical setting then look no further than Jade Mountain located on the southeastern coast of St Lucia.

Built in 2006 by architect Nick Troubetzkoy, Jade Mountain it is a stunning architectural feat which includes 29 rooms on 600 total acres. Jade Mountain shares this property with it’s older sister property Anse Chastenet and includes 2 beaches.

All rooms include butler service and you will want for nothing. Upon arrival you are ushered in to your sanctuary (their word for your accommodations) and given a full tour and a cell phone to contact your butler 24/7 for whatever you need.
He will bring you all your meals, snacks, and drinks, draw your bath, schedule a spa treatment, pack and unpack your bags, and more.

Of the 29 rooms, 25 have pools, and all but 1 sanctuary have only 3 walls. The fourth wall is open to the most amazing views in the Caribbean. Only one room has a 4th wall and air conditioning. If you like a cooler environment your butler will bring in several stand up fans as well as speed up the multiple ceiling fans in the room.

Because there isn’t a 4th wall you will sleep under mosquito nets and every evening the maid service will light a citronella coil and spray the room for bugs.

If you want to enjoy the elements and get a little sun you can lounge in the lounge chairs or relax in the pool which are infinity edge and have a shallow shelf for sitting, lounging, or whatever.

Jade Mountain is definitely a romantic destination and the rooms reflect that. The bed is located in the center and the bathrooms are open concept with only a half-wall so very little privacy if any while showering, taking a bath, or anything else you might do in a bathroom.
If you do decide to venture outside your room you can walk down the hill to either of the beaches or take a shuttle (call your butler to arrange transportation). Both beaches have palapas for shade from the elements including rain and are fully serviced. If you want for anything, just put your red flag in the sand and a cheerful beach attendant will be there in a jiffy to help you.
If you want a little adventure you can take out the Hobie Cat, paddle boards, kayaks, or snorkel. Just a short walk from the main beach is Anse Mamin which it the second beach. It’s much more private but still offers the service of the main beach.
There is one main restaurant at Jade Mountain located on the next to the top level and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s a bar on this level as well as a sitting area around a shallow pool.

The top level is a fabulous place to relax, have a drink, and watch the sunset. l can imagine many weddings, events, and proposals have taken place here including one famous Bachelor (Jake who proposed to Vienna).
