The Hutton Hotel hotel located in Nashville, TN is just steps away from Music Row. The hotel is very concerned about the environment and has many green and sustainable attributes. As for accommodations, there are 248 rooms, including 54 suites all featuring granite baths and showers. The building used to be an office complex which has allowed the rooms to each have a unique space without being cookie-cutter. The technology used in the rooms reminds me of the hotels in Asia where you need to place your room key on a wall near the door to turn on the lights. Also, there is a panel just inside the doorway with your “Do not disturb” light as well as a lap-top sized safe in each room.
Facilities include a modern fitness room with mirrored walls and bamboo flooring equipped with the latest cardio equipment as well as 2 treatment rooms. There isn’t a spa staff, but the concierge can arrange these services for you.
If you are interested in hosting a large event or wedding reception, then this is the place for you. The event space is 13,000 square feet and can accommodate large or small events while the ballroom is 7,000 square feet of elegance overlooking the downtown skyline out the 14’ windows. The restaurant is rather incredible too. While I was there I ate lunch at 1808 Grille and enjoyed the “City’s Best” hamburger. The service was impeccable and the food yummy and I can’t wait to go back!
Hutton Hotel is a gem of a hotel and definitely worth consideration if you find yourself in the Nashville area. It’s conveniently located in the West End area close to Vanderbilt, Belmont and downtown.
