Disneyland Hotel High Key Club – review

February 17, 2026 by Karen McAlpin

Disneyland Hotel just received an upgraded club-level experience. The previous E-Ticket Lounge is now rebranded as the High Key Club with a nod to Disney’s musical start. The decor reflects this rebrand with wall art featuring old metal records (listening system coming soon), staff flowing across the ceiling, and chandeliers made of old Disneyland records and microphones. The mural along the wall of the banquets showcases the Sherman Brothers, Annette Funicello, Blue Fairy, Small World singers, and more. You will also find 3 hidden Mickeys in the artwork. Every now and then, you will hear the sound of a train going by. There are also several other musical artifacts from Disney movies and parks.

Your arrival to the Disneyland Hotel starts with a member of the club cast greeting you at the front door and taking you directly to the lounge to complete your hotel check-in process.

The club opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. and is fully staffed the entire time. Like other club lounges, there are several food presentations daily. Breakfast is served from 6:30-10 a.m. and consists of pastries, cereal, fruits and juices, biscuits and gravy. If you want protein, you will need to find food elsewhere as there are no eggs other than deviled eggs or breakfast meats.

Lunch starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 4pm where they serve little sandwich bites, fresh fruit, Uncrustables, house-made chips, nuts, and sweets. We often came back to the lounge for a mid-day break to rest and eat.

Afternoon snacks are served from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. and consist of appetizers and crudités. We ate here instead of a large dinner each night, but it’s not the best option for picky eaters. They served two hot appetizers, cold salads, lunch meat, cheeses and fruits, and sweets.

Each evening, you can come back for desserts from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. The lounge has uninterrupted views of the Disneyland Park fireworks, so at night, they will pipe in the music and turn down the lights so guests can view the show. Know that the fireworks are not scheduled every night and will often get cancelled due to high winds.

The best part of the club lounge is the accessibility to their beverage stations with a cooler filled with Coke products, a coffee machine, teas, lemonade, flavored water, and bottled water on request. Also on request are alcoholic beverages, milk products, juices, and my favorite, Mickey bars.

The lounge is much larger than it was, so there is ample seating in banquets or by the windows. At the back, you can find a tv showing cartoons for the kids.

The cast of the lounge is available to assist with any dining changes or any issues you have in the park. Many have been with Disney for a long time and can share their history and knowledge with you. We utilized them for several small issues with Lightning Lanes and refunding a tour we were unable to take. A few days before you arrive, they will email guests and introduce themselves to you and remind you to link your hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account and ask if there are any food allergies. I had questions about how to pay the final bill since there were 4 of us sharing a room, and they answered my question and assisted once we arrived in facilitating the charges for us.

I’m a big fan of club lounges but don’t always choose this option due to the cost. The up-charge is around $400-500 per night, so if the service and food options appeal to you, then I highly recommend the upgrade. You will need to book into the club level as you are not able to add club to your room. Club level rooms are located on the 9th, 10th, and 11th floors of the
