Upcoming Destinations for Fall/Winter

FS Vail

McAlpin Travel is on the move again soon starting with a long weekend at the Four Seasons Vail.  I’ve been to Denver a few times in the past because we have a good family friend who used to play for the Broncos, but I’ve never been in the motains.  I’m very excited about this trip because it’s a belated anniversary trip for me and my husband and our first real vacation in 4 years.

The following week I will head to Atlanta for the Brownell company meeting.  The first night will include a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta since I have never experienced a Ritz.  I would say I will be sad to go but the meeting and following evening will be spent at the Four Seasons Atlanta.  Tough life I know but someone has to do it!

Mid-town Atlanta

November will send me to the Caribbean.  First will be a stopover in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the Ritz-Carlton followed by a 7 night cruise onboard the Celebrity Summit.  Stops will include St. Croix, USVI, Basseterre, St. Kitts, Roseau, Dominica, and St. George’s, Grenada.  My only two cruise experiences were to the Bahamas; once in college on Carnival and the other for a New Year’s Eve cruise 9 years ago on Royal Caribbean.  I’m looking forward to a longer and more tropical itinerary.

Celebrity Cruise

For now I plan to stay home the month of December, but am back in Orlando for another family trip to Walt Disney World® Resort in January.  You can never do too much “research”.  So far I think I have 10 dining reservations for only 5 days.  At some point I will nail down our itinerary and cancel most of those but I like having the options.  Our youngest is now tall enough to ride more than he needs to so I can’t wait to take him on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad® Attraction and Splash Mountain® Attraction.

That’s it for now but stay tuned to see where we travel in the Spring!
