I’ve taken my family to Disney World 3 times already so this last trip I decided we will try the value resort and take the low budget approach.  I was a little worried because we’ve always stayed in the other categories (moderate, deluxe, and villa) so a value resort was going to be out of my comfort zone. CHOICE 1: ACCOMMODATION I chose Disney’s All-Star Movies resort which is the sister resort to All-Star Music and All-Star Sports.  When booking a value resort […] Continue reading →

If you’re looking for a luxury resort in the middle of all that Orlando has to offer then look no further than the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes.  The resort sits on 500 acres and is 5 minutes from Sea World, 10 minutes from Universal Studios, and 15-20 minutes from the Walt Disney World resorts. Located next door is the JW Marriott, Grand Lakes with several restaurants, pool with lazy river, and many other activities.  As a guest of the Ritz-Carlton, you also have access to […] Continue reading →

Located inside the Magic Kingdom and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. Characters include Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeoyre and you can see all 4 within the 50-60 minutes it takes to eat your meal. Best thing about this meal is if you book before the park opens then you are allowed inside the Magic Kingdom before the rest of the guests. You usually need to enter on the left side and show your ADR # to the cast member. Once inside you can’t linger or wander but you can […] Continue reading →

I’ll […] Continue reading →

So you’ve booked your first trip to Disney with your kids and you know they are going to be so excited!  But wait, will they really?  We’ve all seen the online videos of the kids being surprised with a trip to Disney World only to be disappointed.  Odds are the younger your children the less they will really understand what a trip to Disney World really means.  I had these same thoughts when I was planning our first trip with the kids when they were going to be 2 and 4.  My biggest […] Continue reading →
