I love this resort and recommend it to clients whenever I can!  Its located on Key Biscayne via a bridge from Miami and although it’s close to everything it seems like a world away. With 490 rooms this resort is large which means it has tons to offer guests but doesn’t feel like a mega-resort. Here are the dining and lounge options: Lobby Lounge Thursday – Saturday have live band Rumbar  Located inside the resort on the main level, it’s a Cuban rum bar and lounge […] Continue reading →

My husband and I recently spent a few days in St. Barts and stayed at Cheval Blanc – Isle de France.  This small resort is a modern seaside retreat decked out in white and driftwood with a touch of sophisticated elegance.  You are greeted by a staff of young french ladies in matching dresses with their hair in buns and handsome  young men with great tans. We stayed in room 22 which is a garden bungalow located across the “street” from the main hotel but tucked away in a […] Continue reading →

Located inside the Magic Kingdom and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. Characters include Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeoyre and you can see all 4 within the 50-60 minutes it takes to eat your meal. Best thing about this meal is if you book before the park opens then you are allowed inside the Magic Kingdom before the rest of the guests. You usually need to enter on the left side and show your ADR # to the cast member. Once inside you can’t linger or wander but you can […] Continue reading →

1. Snacks Food is really expensive at Disney do anytime you can save money is good. Juice boxes and waters Any time you are at Disney you need to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!  I always bring reusable water bottles but my kids love a juice box with meals and I love a bottled water. I’ll […] Continue reading →

So, the kids are out of school, you’re heading to Disney World, and now you need to know what to bring.  Here is a guide to my favorite essentials to help survive a summer (or anytime it’s HOT) trip to Disney World.  All these items can be found at any sports store (I found all of them at Academy Sports) and will be cheaper than buying them when you get to Disney. Sunscreen The sun is bright and powerful and you don’t want to ruin your trip with a sunburn.  I love the […] Continue reading →

With 229 – 302 suites you know it won’t be a crowded ship and almost everything is included.  There are complimentary open bars, fine wines […] Continue reading →

So you’ve booked your first trip to Disney with your kids and you know they are going to be so excited!  But wait, will they really?  We’ve all seen the online videos of the kids being surprised with a trip to Disney World only to be disappointed.  Odds are the younger your children the less they will really understand what a trip to Disney World really means.  I had these same thoughts when I was planning our first trip with the kids when they were going to be 2 and 4.  My biggest […] Continue reading →
